MDRT FOUNDATION GRANTS FUNDS TO THE YMCA
Berwyn, PA — The MDRT Foundation’s
2006 Grants Committee recently honored Kevin P. Nicholson, of
Walsh and Nicholson Financial Group in Wayne, PA, with their
Quality of Life Award for his outstanding volunteerism and leadership
at the YMCA of the Upper Main Line in Berwyn, PA. The Million
Dollar Round Table (MDRT) is the premier association of financial
professionals. MDRT encourages its members to get involved in
their communities and make a difference through their volunteerism.
Grants are awarded to charitable organizations in the name of
the MDRT member selected as a Quality of Life recipient. The
Grants Committee designated the YMCA of the Upper Main Line to
receive $2500. Nicholson presented a check to Joseph Bellwoar,
Chairman of the Association Board of the YMCA, at a recent Board
meeting.
The MDRT Foundation grant will provide funding for the YMCA’s
Inter-Generational Community Art Project, a cornerstone project
that will launch an expanded Arts & Humanities program.
The YMCA of the Upper Main Line has been serving the community
with programs and services to build strong kids, strong families
and strong communities since 1962.
