 The Upper Main Line YMCA has provided thousands of children with terrific summer camp experiences for over 40 years. We offer camps for tots to teens at our beautiful 54-acre facility featuring:
- Four outdoor and two indoor pools
- Water slides and interactive water toys
- Environmental Education Center with live animals and
learning stations
- Athletic fields and sports courts
- Wooded nature trails
- Pond and streams
- Full-size gymnasium
- Large picnic pavilions
Our programs foster social, cultural, physical and emotional development. All activities are based on the Y’s core character values of caring, honesty, respect and responsibility. Counselors are selected for their passion, skills, enthusiasm and above all, their interest in building strong kids.
Family discounts are available as is financial assistance.
- Day Camps
- UMLY Day Camps offer children ages 2 ½ to 12 years half
and full day camps featuring a wide variety of exciting activities,
sports, field trips, swim lessons, intriguing session themes and
awesome special events. Day Camps run in 2-week sessions starting
June 16. The typical camp day runs from 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. Before
and after care is available for early drop off starting at 7:00
AM and late pick ups between 4:15 and 6:00 PM.
- Kindercamp
- For children ages three to five years, we offer Kindercamp, especially designed for the younger camper. Camps run in 2-week, half-day or full day sessions. Your child will spend the day in the care of our energetic, enthusiastic and well trained counselors and will be grouped according to age to make new friends while taking part in fun activities based on weekly themes.
- Specialty Camps
- From team sports to performing arts, we offer a range of camps
for all interests and abilities. Sports camps include team sports
such as basketball, baseball, and soccer. Sports camps are rounded
out with lifetime sports: tennis and golf.
Gymnastics and dance teach the moves to use, while performing arts
camps allow campers to explore their creative side. Arts and Enrichment
programs offer opportunities for campers four to 12 years in arts
and crafts, cooking and science. Nature camps are quickly becoming
the hallmark of UMLY with our onsite Environment Education Center
and 12 acres of wetlands and woodlands. Nature camps introduce
campers four to 18 years of age to the local ecosystem, on site
at the YMCA and off site at the Jersey shore or the Rocky Mountain
National Park and points in between.
- Teen Camps
- UMLY Teen Camps are big on adventure and fun
for ages 13 to 15. We offer a range of exciting, summer experiences
for the older camper.
