Camp Philosophy

The YMCA of the Upper Main Line believes in providing camp programs which foster social, cultural, physical and emotional development for children of all ages. All YMCA camp activities reflect the core character values of Caring, Honesty, Respect and Responsibility. Our camps create an opportunity for children to build self-esteem and friendships while developing a greater independence and life skills. The creative potential of the campers is cultivated in a safe, fun and nurturing environment.

Registration Information

Registration Dates
December 5, 2009 – Early bird special -  2009 Prices* -  Returning families.
*Camp UMLY Day Camp, Kindercamp,  All Sports, Nature Safari, Tracks and Trails, Creative Explorations, Tennis, Tiny Tennis, Tiny Tennis/Golf.
February 1, 2010 — Open registration begins.

How to Register

Registration may be done on-line for full members or in person at the Welcome Center.
Registration packets are available at the Welcome Center or on the web at www.umly.org/camp.
Parent Handbooks will be available on-line at www.umly.org December 5th.

What to Bring (if registering in person):

Registration packets - Authorized pick up contact information with phone numbers for those authorized to pick up your child

Payment- Camp registrations will not be processed unless all of the above items are received completed. All campers must have their current photo on file. If you are not a full member, please stop by the Welcome Center to have your child’s photo taken.

Registration Changes

Any changes to your original camp registration must be made in writing on a Camp Change form.

Forms are available in the Welcome Center and Camp Office. Changes will not be accepted over the phone.

All changes excluding additions should be made 14 days prior to the start of the requested camp session to avoid a $50 processing fee.

Registration Fees

There is a $25 registration fee per family. This registration fee is non-applicable, non-refundable, and non-transferable.

Camp Deposits

A $75 non-refundable, non-transferable deposit is due at the time of registration for each camp and session for which your child is registered. Deposits are applied to camp balances for each session

Payment Due Dates

All camp fees are due by May 15, 2010
You can pay by Electronic Funds Transfer (EFT)
Camp enrollment is not guaranteed until payment is received in full.
If payment in full is not made two weeks prior to the start of the camp, the camper may be withdrawn from camp and his/her spot forfeited.
